ELNEC Programs offered:

The Purpose of this program is to train health care professionals in end of life and palliative care through a comprehensive program that has been successfully utilized throughout the United States.

The attendees will become ELNEC Trained (if they attend the 8 hour didactic program only) or ELNEC Trainers (if they attend the 16 hour Train the Trainer Conference) who are encouraged to educate other health care professionals in palliative care and end of life.

Cyndi Cramer, BA, RN, OCN, PCRN, has enhanced this course to include additional content that will give the participants even more tools to help them in these goals. Cyndi also developed the PCRN & PCRP concept and graduates of the enhanced program will become a PCRN (Palliative Care Resource Nurse) or PCRP (Palliative Care Resource Professional)

The Target Audience for this program includes health care professionals from a wide variety of areas. RN’s, LPN’s, APN’s, MD’s, Administrators, Chaplains, Social Workers, Psychologists, Therapists & others are encouraged to attend.

Continuing Education Credit: RealNurseEd will award 25 Contact Hours to Nurses who attend the extended course in it’s entirety and fill out the evaluation. (16-18 hours if they attend a simple Train the Trainer Conference and 8-9 hours if they attend an ELNEC Program with only the didactic content) Contact Cyndi@RealNurseEd.com for info about possible credit in non-nursing specialties. RealNurseEd is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing through the Florida Board of Nursing. Application is being made to AACN (American Assoc. of Critical Care Nurses) for contact hours for CCRN renewal for the Critical Care ELNEC Conference.

The participants will also receive an ELNEC Trainer Certificate from AACN (American Assoc. of Colleges of Nursing)

Cost of Course Includes:

8 to 25 contact hours, extensive handouts & complete CD of all ELNEC materials, PCRN/PCRP pin for those completing extended program, & ELNEC Trainer Certificate from AACN
