I have stumbled onto this awesome mission that Marie Wrinn, RN, CHPN, has taken on.

At the end of 2007, there were 2.1 million children living with HIV around the world.

An estimated 320,000 children died of AIDS in 2007.

Nearly 9 of 10 live in Sub-Saharan Africa, followed by Latin America and South East Asia.

The above statistics define a child as a person under the age of 15.

All too often, they are left to die in appalling conditions without food or shelter. They have only newspapers to serve as a cover. They are turned away due to the stigma and poverty. Their last few days are often lived in pain, fear, and loneliness.

Allowing Children to Die with Dignity.

NCDA is a bridge to span gaps in the provision of quality end-of-life care for children in developing countries; by strengthening local programs through education and facility development.
